12 Blue Coach: Kaity Truman

Kaity is from Genoa, Ohio and is a 2022 Genoa Area High School graduate. Kaity is a current student at Miami University studying Sports Leadership and Management as well as General Business. She played volleyball for 8 years, playing club for 3, as well as division three volleyball for Wilmington College before transferring to Miami in the Spring of 2023. Kaity has coached for her high schools 3rd-6th grade teams! She is looking forward to her first season with Surge! She cannot wait for a great season with 12 Blue.

13 Blue Coach + 16 Blue Coach: Lauren Reinhardt

Lauren is from Cincinnati, OH and went to Oak Hills High School. She started playing volleyball in 3rd grade! Lauren played competitively for 5 years while also playing in high school. She is a graduate from UC with a degree in Business Administration. Lauren is also the freshman head coach at Seton, where her team just finished 1st in the GGCL with a 20-1 record! This is Lauren's second season with Surge, and can’t wait for an amazing season with 13 Blue.​

14 Blue Coach: Carly Schloemer

Carly is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a 2022 Oak Hills High School graduate, where she played for four years, two on varsity. She is currently pursuing her Accounting degree at the University of Cincinnati. Carly has played volleyball since 2nd grade and began playing competitively in 5th grade, playing at CYVBC Surge for 7 years, where she won 2 OVR Championships with Coach Natalie. Her CYVBC Surge team, 13 Grey, finished second in the OVR last season out of 191 teams! Carly is looking forward to her second year in the coaching role and cannot wait to meet the players on 14 Blue!

15 Grey Coach + 15 Blue Coach: T'Keyah Grier

T’Keyah was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a triple University of Cincinnati alumna where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Science, Master of Public Health degree, and PhD degree in public health education. She is also currently working at the university as the program director for her organization where she oversees and manages public health education and grant funded projects for health professionals in Ohio. T'Keyah has played volleyball since she was in 6th grade. She played on her high school varsity team for three years and played club volleyball throughout high school and some of college. Although she no longer plays competitively, she still loves to play in her free time and loves coaching volleyball! This will be her 6th season coaching with Surge. She is also the JVB coach at Oak Hills High School with Coach Ally and Coach Kayla! T'Keyah looks forward to meeting all of the players and can’t wait to see what this season holds for all of the teams.
